How To Choose Appropriate Clothing?

December 14 2020

There is a lot of documentation needed to determine the origination of clothing. Some of the well-known examples of clothing are mentioned below. The clothes most people are familiar with and which are worn regularly are Patiala Salwar Kameez, Churidar Kameez, Pakistanis'kikrii, Bengali Kurta, Indian Kurta, etc. The clothing worn by the Pagans also differs from that of Christians and Muslims. These are discussed below:

Garment refers to the outer covering of the clothing. Garment can be divided further into two categories. One is the outer garment itself, while the other is the inner garment. An example of an inner garment is the Kurta. The primary articles of clothing that make up the Garment are the Kameez, the Kurta, the Lehenga, etc.

Trousers The clothing that makes up the trouser is called trousers. Trousers are of various types and fabrics like Churidar, Patiala, etc. The most common type of trousers is the Churidar trousers. These are available in many patterns and designs, both classic and contemporary. Other popular types of trousers are the Kurta pyjama, Patiala trousers, etc.

Robes are the outer garments that come in two forms. They can either be the Saree or the Kurta. Saree is the customary kind of Robe worn by Hindus while Kurta is the western style of Robe. The clothing usually worn by men is the Kameez, the Kurta, the Lehenga, etc. Other clothes like Kurta pajamas, Churidar pajamas, etc can also be worn along with the Robes.

Other Clothes Other than the above mentioned clothing, there are many other kinds of clothes as well. Some of these include dresses, sandals, jewelry, headgear, etc. These can be classified according to the places of their origin. For instance, the attires from Rajasthan, India are different from the ones from West Bengal, India. In addition to these clothes, people in the Indian subcontinent can choose from other clothing depending upon their region like North-eastern India being clothing rich while the South-western part will have clothing similar to that of the North-easterners.

Fashion The meaning of clothing for a particular region, be it Indian, Chinese, or any other region, can be known depending upon its clothing culture. Clothing plays a vital role in giving a particular region its distinct personality. Rajasthan cloth can give a certain meaning to an Indian to a North-eastern Rajasthan dress can provide protection to the wearer. Similarly, the Feng Shui clothing philosophy can be known by looking at the various types of clothing worn in an Indian household. The clothing found in the Feng Shui house is meant for providing proper Feng Shui for that particular home.

There are some important factors that should be taken into consideration while buying Indian attire. Clothes should be bought keeping in mind the climatic changes of the region, the material used for manufacturing, and the color scheme used in the clothing. The outfit should be in sync with the personality and the temperament of the person wearing them. The colors of Indian outfits are rich and vibrant, which helps in enhancing the charisma of the wearer.

Fabric An important thing to consider while choosing Indian clothing is the fabric. Fabrics like rayon, silk, wool, cotton are popular with Indian cloth makers, as these fabrics are soft, flexible, and durable, thus making them suitable for the demanding needs of Indian cloth makers. Some of the commonly used fabrics include Bamboo, khadi, jute, karastan, Merino wool, silk, and tan cloth. Garment made from bamboo is known to give protection against harsh weather conditions, as bamboo cloth maintains the coolness of the body and keeps the skin cool and fresh. Clothes which are washed on hangers get a rich look after being dried in the sun, while clothes made from khadi, jute, and karastan remain fresh and glowing.

Color Design An important thing to consider while choosing clothing is the color. Dark colors make the wearer appear elegant, while light colors make the person look playful. Certain colors like blue, red, green and yellow make the person look bold, while clothes which are monochrome, like white or black, make the wearer look dull. People who like to move around in style prefer to wear colorful clothing, as they make them appear lively and fun-loving.

Clothing A proper apparel is needed to make a perfect impression on people, and one should not overlook this point while choosing Indian clothing. The main article of clothing is the dress, which is an apt blend of the above mentioned factors, along with some other factors. The article of clothing should be comfortable, healthy, and easy to maintain, and should be affordable. For all these reasons, Indian clothes are worn by people of all age groups, irrespective of gender and class.
